How to play and game rules
- Numbers describe consecutive groups of filled squares in each row or column, in order. Leave at least one empty square between groups; 0 means no filled squares.
- Choose Fill, Cross out or Erase and tap a cell. Tab enters the board; arrows, Home and End move focus. Space or Enter applies the tool, X crosses out and Delete erases. Right-click also crosses out.
- Clues matching your marks are underlined; this does not reveal mistakes or separately confirm a deduction. There is no error limit. Fill all correct squares with no extras to win; crossing out every empty square is optional.
- Original patterns are generated with one solution, verified by a solver. Easy is 5×5, medium 7×7 and hard 10×10; labels describe size rather than solving techniques. Daily puzzles are 7×7.
- Undo retains 100 steps. Reset clears your marks on the same unfinished pattern. On small screens, scroll the board area horizontally to see all clues.
- Daily: one scored game per UTC date, changing at 00:00 UTC (19:00 in Panama). Unfinished games expire at the next challenge and finished games cannot be restarted.
- Unlimited games keep separate statistics. Only finished games count. Changing language preserves progress. Data stays in this browser and domain; clearing site data removes your history.
