How to play and game rules
- Find the hidden equation of exactly 8 symbols in 6 guesses. Use the digits 0-9 and the symbols + - * / =.
- The equation has a single =. The left side is an expression with 2 or 3 numbers and the right side is a single non-negative integer. There are no leading zeros (except a lone 0), no negative signs and no consecutive operators.
- Standard precedence applies: * and / are calculated before + and -. Every division must be exact and you cannot divide by 0.
- Each guess must be a correct equation: if both sides are not equal, the guess is not used. You cannot repeat a guess either.
- After each guess, every tile shows ✓ if the symbol is in the right place, ↔ if it is in the equation but elsewhere, or × if it is not there (or no more copies remain). Repeated symbols are only marked as many times as they appear in the solution.
- Type with your physical keyboard (digits, + - * / =, Backspace and Enter) or the on-screen keyboard, which colors each key by the best clue known.
- Daily: one scored game per UTC date, changing at 00:00 UTC (19:00 in Panama). Unlimited games keep separate statistics and only finished games count. Data stays in this browser and domain; clearing site data removes your history.
